So in this chapter, while we won’t jump into the nitty gritty of how to tactically implement all the ideas presented in this chapter, (don’t worry, we’ll do that in the following chapters), we will delve into some broad ways in which AI technology can directly support the success of our HR departments.

AI can write a sequence of emails on a specific topic and automatically send bite-size content to a particular group of employees daily throughout a workweek. A version of this could be done using Tik Tok style videos each day instead of emails as well.

As Learning and Development professionals, part of our job is to identify our organizations’ training and development needs and design and implement programs to meet those needs. But with the sheer data available, it’s overwhelming to try to sift through it all and determine what is most important.

Here’s another way AI can help. By using AI to analyze data, we can gain insights and make data-driven decisions about our organizations’ training and development needs.

For example, AI can analyze employee performance data to identify areas where employees may struggle or underperform. It can also analyze employee feedback and survey data to determine which training programs are most effective and which may need to be revised.
